In-office Consultation (Medical Aid)
A 60 min in-office consultation with dietary advice (medical aid).
Service Description
Information that will be obtained and requested includes medical history, currently diagnosed conditions, chronic treatment, physical exercise, and a food frequency questionnaire. This consultation will include a biometric screen using an analysis scan to determine metabolism, weight, water, muscle, and fat mass. Dietary advice and guidance are included in this session: • Type of diet, foods to include and exclude. • Disease or syndrome specific guidelines included, e.g. Irritable bowel disease (IBS) guideline • Meal interval discussion. • The setting of goals. Please note: No meal plan included in this session. You are liable for a R100 admin fee (payable online), the rest will be claimed via medical aid. The consultation fee may vary based on medical aid tariffs.
Cancellation Policy
Please be advised that cancellations made up to 3 hours before a scheduled appointment via [email, text, phone call] will be processed without a penalty. Cancellations made 3 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a service charge as discussed with your practitioner.
